What makes you tick? The question everyone asks an artist. For me, the inspirational tick is multifaceted as I draw inspiration from personal experiences, colors in the room, architecture and the wonderment of enhancing a persons beauty with tools and techniques learned over the years.

First and foremost, I am a performer with an edge and an interest in the behind the scenes work that goes into creating a full look. I have been active in arts since I could walk, talk and sing. There has always been an interest in everything fashion from the flare and creativity of wardrobe styling to the artistry behind hair and makeup technique.

I began my career in 2000 doing makeup and hair for my high school plays and musicals. Thereafter, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance from the University of Oklahoma in December of 2008. I was on multiple hair and makeup crews for the shows put on by the school including: wig design, makeup design, hair design and costume construction and design. I graduated from imagine Paul Mitchell Partner School in February 2013 in Norman, Oklahoma. Currently, I work as the lead artist and owner of Concepts by Anastasia and freelance with many other well known bridal teams in the Dallas/Forth Worth area such as Beauty and the Blush, Lipservice Makeup, Tracy Melton Artistry, Amber Joy MUA among others. I am proud to be a true freelance artist and enable my colleagues to be as successful as possible through my expertise in bridal hair and makeup knowledge.

 

I pride myself on my punctual, hard working, yet fun attitude and my eye for fashion. Whether it is for the wedding of your dreams, a red carpet event or a night out on the town, I can help bring what you need to have edge and sophistication in your personal brand image.
